Beijing South Railway Station

The Beijing South Railway Station (北京南站) is a railway station in south Beijing.

Built in the early 1950s, the railway station currently stands shabby. Renovations are to begin soon, expanding the offer of waiting rooms, optimising sanitation, and introduce enhanced services.

Once renovation is completed, the new Beijing-Tianjin inter-city railway will connect Beijing South station to Tianjin, ready for operation by July 2008. This very railway line will begin construction in July 2005.
